Dear friends,
Here is a small update concerning our visa sitution.
As I've previously mentioned, the gov't has given us
until Jan 18th to remain in Guyana. This has not yet
changed and this is our 'last marching orders' as our
appeal still sits on the Ministers desk.
We hope to have an update sometime next week but there
are no guarantees. We are all making tentative
arrangements to out of the country by Jan 18th. Two of
our staff will travel next door to Suriname until
things have been sorted. One of my staff, Emese and I
will travel to the conference in Orlando. AS the
conference begins Jan 29th, I will first travel to
Canada to work out some paper work in regards to my
Health card that needed to be resolved in person
before the end of February anyway. The timing is
perfect and all of us really have faith that all will
work out.
Please do pray for our situation esp. in the next week
to come. There are four pastors going to bat for us
who have been great encouragers here and who will
continue to help us see this resolved. The prayer
support and encouragement from other churches,
friends, pastors has been overwhelming and we are all
encouraged.
Thanks and May God bless you.
For those in Canada.... see you soon!
Love,
Kim
