How are you? Hope you are doing well. We have been thinking and praying about you. You have blessed us with your love and prayers. Thank you so much.
We are doing well. The children-Princy and Prince are doing well. Princy has school holidays for 10 days. We are happy to spend whole days with her. Prince is trying to walk himself! He is a blessing. Kavitha is fine too. Muthu was gone for 3 weeks to Thailand , Malaysia and Singapore . The Lord has done great things in last few weeks. Here is the report for Muthu’s trip.
Thailand The Lord made a way for me to attend YWAM’s Asia Pacific Conference in Chiang Mai , Thailand for 5 days. About 500 people from many Nations attended this. The Lord came down during worship times and we could see the heart of God for the Nations. It was a time of celebration of God’s work. We had some good speakers and learnt so much about Missions in the world. I met so many new people and some old friends. One the first day I did not even have little money to eat dinner (All YWAMers need to take care of their food and lodging) but God supplied the dinner. The next day the Organizers said that I need not to pay for the food and later for the lodging! Praise God.
Malaysia and Singapore I believe this is the time for Indians to go to the Nations. India has been receiving Missionaries for the last 2000 years from many Nations. I believe Indians have a significant role to play in World Missions. So my desire is to send as many people as possible to all Nations. Indians need to bless the Nations. To facilitate this I went to Thailand , Malaysia and Singapore . We want to send Indian Youth for short and long term missions all over. But first we want to start with our neighboring Nations. We will be running Youth Missions Camp in May 2008 and send at least 10 short term teams to China, Srilanka, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. The doors are open for Srilanka , Thailand and Malaysia now. Hopefully the doors will open for other Nations too.
Ministry
1.Evangelism-
At the Thailand Customs, I was able to share little about Jesus to the Officer. In the Hotel, I shared the Gospel to 2 people. In Malaysia , I shared the Gospel to few people. I met Ganapathi and few Muslims at the restaurant and talked with them about Jesus. Thenmozhi and her brother Ramesh received Jesus in Seremban , Malaysia . I took 2 friends along with me for personal evangelism. They learnt about how to share the Gospel.
2.Teaching- I had the privilege of teaching on Evangelism for 2 days in Malaysia Tamil Bible Institute, Semiyh, Malaysia. It went very well. Also I was privileged to be with 2 homes for children-Destiny Center , Klang and Rhema Children Home, Taman Rasa, Malaysia . I shared my life story with these people and also spoke about Destiny. They children enjoyed it. We had a lot games and fun. I hope to meet them in the future.
3. Sharing the Word- Except in one meeting, the rest I always spoke on Missions. I had the privilege to speak in more than 10 meetings in Malaysia and Singapore . I challenged people to do something for God and His Kingdom. Most of the time, I could sense the approval of God in these meetings. The believers were blessed and challenged. Many have decided to a play an important role in His Kingdom. Nearly 550 people in total were challenged for Missions.
Provision of God I took Indian Handicrafts to raise the airfare for this trip. Almost I sold all the handicrafts! So I could pay for the air ticket. I was so much blessed with many things-Food, accommodation, clothes for me, Kavitha and children, snacks, drinks, bags, finances, good health, travel mercies, walker for Prince, good friends, used laptop, etc and above all, the grace of God!
Upcoming It is good to be back in Chennai and be with my family. We are preparing and praying about coming School of Evangelism and Pioneering (SOEP) in Jan 22.We need more staff and students. Please remember to pray for this.
