INTRODUCTION

In India schools generally shut down for summer vacation beginning from the last mid of April till the end of May. During this time the children remain home spending much of their time in playing. Seeing the potential to reach out to the children during this time many years ago VBS (VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL) an organization started a 10 days Bible school Things that are taught in VBS are Biblical values through

* Songs and stories

* Memory verses

* Activities that drove some life transforming principles (for instance coloring Josephs dreams help me even remember how faithful God is when it comes to fulfilling his promise etc and Josephs character to forgive and help even those who have committed evil)

* Performing art exercises like drama, one act play etc., helped me realize the importance of oneness and team spirit.

VBS I am sure will help the present generation to gain even more. We will be reaching 500-700 children from the age of 5 - 18 of Hindu background.

MATERIALS

We will buy materials produced by an organization experienced in producing books for summer classes like this. We have been using these books for the past 3 years. Each year we have been seen appreciable results.

GOAL

To reach, teach and win 700 kids for the Lord this year and disciple the same in the year ahead of us.

METHODOLOGY

Training the trainers from our church

Supply books, song cassettes, song books, teaching aids etc.

Each the kids will undergo a lesson a day, which will lead them to find the Lord as the personal Lord and saviour. At the end of the day programme the interested children will be recruited to be part of the children Bible club, which will be established for that community, this will have some recreation and discipleship programme. We would like to thank all our partners who have helped us to reach to out to the Hindu children, this time a support to this effort will help us not only reach out to the children but also contribute for church growth.

Please do pray and support this, this year too through your valuable prayers and donations which we will use to buy books, uniforms to be given as gifts and of course food on the last day, the total cost of the programme would be Rs. 40,000.00. In other words it is equivalent to $ 1200.00 USD. Pray for this project.
